EARN’s Wealthcare Program provides financial planning and coaching services to low-wage working individuals and families. In addition to directly serving clients, EARN has also developed a comprehensive financial coach training program for other nonprofit staff so that they may become financial coaches in their own communities.
Our four-day coach training covers coaching fundamentals, skills, and techniques. It also covers key financial content such as budgeting, debt management, credit, savings, and investing. Co-facilitated by a Master-certified Coach and a Financial Planner, the training is highly experiential and provides ample opportunity for trainees to practice and observe financial coaching techniques.
After completing the core training, nonprofit staff come together for monthly teleclasses. These sessions give participants an opportunity to solicit feedback from EARN’s expert coach trainer and their peers now that they have had the opportunity to put their training into practice.
For information about future trainings, please contact coach@earn.org.
