This morning, Twitter is abuzz with the news that after two weeks of massive protest and revolution in Egypt, President Mubarak had finally stepped down. Headlines are thrilling:

NYT NEWS ALERT: Mubarak Steps Down, Vice President Says
MUBARAK STEPS DOWN! Wow.
Hosni Mubarak, Egypt's President for Three Decades, Resigns
WOW!!!! They did it. #Egypt

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

Of course, at EARN, we've known this for a long time. Against all odds, our Savers, oftentimes people working minimum-wage jobs and supporting families, manage to save their hard-earned money and make dreams like college education, microenterprise and homeownership a reality.

Now, ending a dictatorship is certainly a little different than going to college to college for the first time or starting a small business. But the qualities that Egyptians exhibited during their revolution -- determination, tenacity, vision -- are certainly shared by our Savers, who struggle and sacrifice every day to create a better future for their families.

And what about you? Have you overcome adversity to fulfill your dreams? Share your story below!
