At EARN, we have four core values – dignity, prosperity, scale and innovation. We take this commitment very seriously and design our products based on these pillars. Since rolling out a new national platform in October 2016, we have continued to listen to our Savers to see what they are saying about EARN.
What we heard was that our community wanted financial resources from a trusted nonprofit like EARN. We heard this feedback and decided to test the addition of financial content to our program in our own backyard, the San Francisco Bay Area. On June 20, 2017, we launched SaverLife San Francisco, a rebranded online savings platform, with the same incentives as our nationwide program, but with the addition of weekly financial tips via email.
The results were astounding. All 1,000 spots were filled in 6 weeks and the conversion rate of member sign up to Savers was 65%.
It was a no-brainer to decide to make SaverLife available nationwide. EARN already has a national footprint with more than 73,000 members in all 50 states and we want to elevate all our Savers to the new platform, to benefit from the financial content and SaverLife community we’re building.
We’re excited to announce that in October, 2017, all EARN Savers will be able to save on the SaverLife platform and engage with the SaverLife community. Stay tuned for additional product enhancements as we continue to listen to our savers and implement the features they are seeking.
